This part is not the same as the one used on the units as this has a closed back and is installed in a easy access location for the customer.
Common question is can you add this part onto an older unit or unit that does not come with this remote. The answer is there is not a way to retrofit the remote to units that didn’t come as a Spectra connect system.
It is a good replacement if your currect screen has failed, touch screen buttons unresponsive or a lighting stike takes out your electronics.
